Wild Horses has unveiled the full artist lineup for its 2025 event. Returning to San Diego’s Petco Park on December 27, the celebrated year-end country showcase will once again present a star-studded stable of the genre’s foremost pioneers. After previous editions led by Post Malone, Zach Bryan, Paul Cauthen and more, the fifth-annual event will skew into the world of alternative Americana with a headline set from Mumford & Sons.
Mumford & Sons’ selection for Wild Horses 2025 arrives at the end of an exhilarating year for the London-based folk rock trio of Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett. After a run of intimate club shows around the world, the beloved band released Rushmere, their first new studio album in seven years, then proceeded to celebrate the occasion with an ongoing cross-country stadium tour. Highlights within the run were the four shows reviving their unforgettable Railroad Revival Tour, which saw the band join forces with Chris Thile, Nathaniel Rateliff, Trombone Shorty, Lucius, Mike Gordon and more.
Beyond the top-billed act, Wild Horses will feature performances from the cinematic and powerful alt-folk outfit Lord Huron, genre-bending bluegrass firebrand Sierra Ferrell, who returns after a set in Wild Horses 2023, and rising indie-pop talent Lily Meola.
