Bonnaroo has issued a follow-up statement regarding the cancellation of this year’s event. The festival has announced that they will refund four-day ticket holders 100% for their tickets; the Bonnaroo team had previous offered to refund four-day ticket holders 75% since the first day of the four-day event played as scheduled. Single day tickets holders for Friday, Saturday and Sunday has already been promised a refund and all one-day parking passes will also be completely refunded. The veteran event was cancelled on June 13, the second day of the festival, due to weather complications that resulted in deteriorating camping an egress conditions.

In addition, Bonnaroo’s promoters have posted a message that days, “We want you to know that we’re still listening and actively discussing plans to improve The Farm that we love so much. At this time, we will not announcing future fates. When plans for the future take shape, you all will be the first to know.”

Bonnaroo traditionally confirms the next day’s dates shortly after the conclusion of the festival each spring. The event has been held on the same farm in Manchester, Tenn., each June since its inception in 2002. The event was called off in 2021 due to the pandemic due to flooding on the site shortly before gates opened; the 2021 event was pushed from June to September due to the lingering effects of COVID. The Farm also played host to the Exit 111 Festival, which focused on hard rock and metal, in 2019 and a series of socially distanced shows in 2021. In 1999, the site hosted the Itchycoo Park festival before Bonnaroo’s inception.
