Eight new installments of Jonathan Shank’s podcast The Jam have been confirmed for this spring. The first episode of the new season just posted and presents a conversation with Dawes and Eric Krasno. This will be followed on April 29 by an interview with Cory Wong. Then Peter Shapiro & Grahame Lesh will appear on May 6. Additional guests include Benmont Tench, Tom Hamiton and Taper’s Choice with Mike Greenhaus.
The Jam debuted last March with back-to-back episodes featuring Randy Jackson and Dean Budnick. Other first-season participants included The Disco Biscuits, George Porter Jr., Bill Payne, Billy Cobham and Robby Krieger. The second season followed in September with Rick Mitarotonda & Ben Baruch, Maggie Rose, Devon Allman and Duane Betts and Jorma Kaukonen among the interviewees.
