Following news of their reunion tour earlier this week, Oasis has ended frenzied festival rumors amid speculation that the pioneering British rockers would appear at Glastonbury 2025 and other festivals next year. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher went to their socials to clarify that they had no plans to deviate from their headlining tour.
Though Noel once professed, “I f***ing love Glastonbury” in a 2024 interview with The Sun, calling the event “the best f***ing thing about Britain apart from the Premier League,” the brothers will not appear at this year’s iteration, nor at Coachella, as many rumors have implied. In fact, the Oasis Live ’25 World Tour dates set for shows across the UK and Ireland for next July and August will be the “only way to see the band perform.”
With the aforementioned headlining tour across Europe’s largest stages as the band’s main priority, Oasis will bring an end to its 16-year hiatus at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5. Returning to their roots, the group will then head to Manchester’s Heaton Park for four nights on July 11, 12, 19 and 20. The following weekend, the brothers are set for four more evenings in England at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 25 and 26 as well as Aug. 2 and 3. After a brief pair of dates in Scotland the next weekend, Oasis will close out their initial reunion tour in Ireland, with two evenings scheduled at Dublin’s Croke Park on Aug. 16 and 17.
In response to criticism about solely traversing Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland, the band responded that “plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.” After all, for fans who have waited nearly 16 years for a brotherly reunion, what’s a little while longer?
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale at 9 a.m. local time on Saturday, August 31, and will be available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com, and www.seetickets.com, Dublin tickets will be available from 8 a.m. that same day from www.ticketmaster.ie.
