In the midst of a busy summer, Karina Rykman has unveiled her fall and winter touring schedule. Today’s announcement adds three new performances in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. to plot an even march down the East Coast through autumn, to be followed by a West Coast run and scattered dates across the country as the seasons change again. Rykman’s latest dispatch comes hot on the heels of a series of high profile appearances on the summer circuit, including opener engagements and surprise sit-ins with My Morning Jacket.

Rykman’s fall schedule begins on Sept. 12, when the ace bassist and jam scene darling will touch down in Portsmouth, N.H. for a tour opener at 3S Artspace. From there, the artist will pass through The Drake in Amherst, Mass. on Sept. 13 and the newly renovated Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, N.Y. on Sept. 14 en route to the Southeast, where she will stage eight headline stops through Oct. 13. Highlights from this regional run include stops at Richmond, Va.’s Richmond Music Hall on Sept. 19, Charleston, S.C.’s Charleston Pour House on Sept. 21, Atlanta’s Aisle 5 on Sept. 26 and Nashville, Tenn.’s Cannery Hall on Sept. 28. Midway through this dash, Rykman will fly out to Redmond, Ore. to perform at Cascade Equinox Festival, then back to Memphis, Tenn. for Mempho Music Festival.

Rykman will close out her East Coast set at Washington, D.C.’s The Atlantic on Oct. 12, then head to the West Coast for four dates in the Golden State, including a Nov. 8 appearance at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles and a follow-up at San Francisco’s indie vanguard The Independent on Nov. 9. With two further sets in Portland, Ore. and Seattle on Oct. 15 and 16, the artist will head East again for a two-night booking at Burlington, Vt.’s legendary jam haven Nectar’s on Nov. 5 and 6. After the encore, she’ll remain in the Northeast for three final dates, closing out the year of touring so far with a last stop at Portland, Maine’s Portland House of Music on Dec. 14.
