Today, Gregory McLoughlin, the New Jersey-based songwriter and bass player, has shared a new single, “Woody Guthrie.” The musician also unveiled details on the corresponding video premiere, which will occur via YouTube following his fourth annual Cape Cod Edition of his Thank God It’s Monday Broadcast on Facebook, YouTube in simulcast on Monday, July 31 at 7:30 p.m. E.T.
McLoughlin’s latest release marks his 13th single as a solo artist. He described the new number via a press release: “Woody Guthrie is a song about reconnecting with loved ones, finding your true self through pain & hardship, and realizing that there is such thing as a new day.”
“I am sharing Woody Guthrie’s musical inspiration right down the line through my creative output and our universal love of music,” the artist concluded. In addition to McLoughlin’s solo material, he has written for BuzzUniverse, Julia Kirk, Beeman and Bannon, Ana Oh, Anthony Tamburro, Ross Sandler, Abbe Rivers, Johnny Bullitt and others.
