Taper’s Choice have announced a series of tour dates slated for the fall. The Los Angeles-based jamband comprised of Alex Bleeker (Real Estate), Dave Harrington (Darkside), Zach Tenorio-Miller (Arc Iris) and Chris Tomson (Vampire Weekend), will commence their run with two nights at Union Pool in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sept. 15 and 16, before continuing throughout the East Coast. 

After opening their recently announced tour in the Empire State, Taper’s Choice will move up to Montague, Mass., for their next performance at Big Brown, which is scheduled to include an appearance by special guest, Wet Tuna. Then, the band will conclude their Bay State visit at Deep Thoughts JP in Boston on Sept. 18. 

Following a two-day break, the band will work their way to Burlington, Vt., for a show at the favored Nectar’s venue, on Sept. 20. Taper’s Choice will continue with a night at Columbus Theatre in Providence, R.I., on Sept. 21, followed by a gig at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia, on Sept. 22. Prior to the launch of their fall tour, Taper’s Choice will put on their second annual single-day music festival, dubbed Taper’s Fest. The event will feature performances by cosmic rock-and-roll duo Color Green, multi-instrumentalist Peter Matthew Bauer, indie artist Brendan Eder and folk singer Kelly McFarling. Rounding out the lineup are DJ performances from Aquarium Drunkard and Samiami.
