Hot off the heels of her excellent collaboration with LP Giobbi at the Oregon Country Fair, acclaimed solo pianist Holly Bowling revealed her highly anticipated return to The Chapel in San Francisco set for Sept. 28. The special hometown performance marks four years since her last solo show at the unique venue–equipped with a 40-ft. arched ceiling, and stunning acoustics–promising an unforgettable evening for fans.
Known for her virtuosic playing, emotional depth, and innovative approach, Bowling has captivated audiences across the globe. From performing on windswept mountain cliffs to prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, she has continuously pushed the boundaries of both her playing and the compositions themselves.
Before the much-awaited show in San Francisco, Bowling is set to close out the summer season with a series of captivating performances. First, she will treat fans to a pair of intimate “piano recital” after shows at the Newport Folk Festival. Following that, she will grace the stage at the Re / Evolution Festival in Washington. Additionally, she has two headlining shows lined up in Montana.
Bowling’s latest album, Seeking All That’s Still Unsung, showcases her boundless creativity and profound musicality, and she is sure to showcase the LP, along with what she’s picked up from her fearless exploration of Grateful Dead classics, during her shows.
