Powerhouse trumpeter and vocalist Jennifer Hartswick and her band have announced an upcoming fall tour, Something in the Water, slated for September. The member of the Trey Anastasio Band will hit nine stops in the Midwest and Northeast regions of the country with guests Nick Cassarino, Nate Edgar and Conor Elmes.
The Jennifer Hartswick Band begins their run at the intimate Analog venue in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 6, which kickstarts a four-day push through Ohio and Illinois before heading to Washington, D.C, Pennsylvania, and eventually the Brooklyn Bowl in New York on Sept. 14. The tour will resume after a week’s break for its final stop in Denver, Colo.
“I’m sooooo thrilled to be on the road with the JHB in September!! Tell your friends! Hell, tell your enemies! Come on out and get a solid dose of music that’ll cure what ails ya,” the trumpeter wrote in an Instagram post announcing the tour. She also added that along with guests Cassarino, Edgar and Elmes, there will be “MANY more” joining along for the ride.
The tour comes after Hartswick released her 2022 full-length LP, Something in the Water, which shares a name with the impending run of shows.
