Radiohead drummer Philip Selway announced today an upcoming Sept. 25 show at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City, set to celebrate his latest record Strange Dance. Released in February, the live performance of the ambient and esoteric new album marks Selway’s return to the venue after eight years.

With his signature Instagram caption opening “Hiya,” Selway wrote that his return to Le Poisson Rouge’s stage is “one night only.” Le Poisson Rouge dubbed the impending show as being an “intimate” performance in its announcement post, generating excitement for Selway and his “sonic storytell[ing],” the venue wrote.

In between his solo albums, Selway supported with drums and percussion in Lanterns On The Lake’s newest record Versions Of Us, released last month. The seasoned alt-rock drummer also collaborated with the likes of Thom York, Jonny Greenwood and Ed O’Brien on classical Radiohead renditions.

Lanterns On The Lake expressed their gratitude for Selway on Instagram, detailing obstacles the group ran into when making the album. “A special thank you to @philipselway for helping bring this album back to life,” the band wrote.

The presale starts Thurs. July 6, and tickets go on sale Friday, July 7 at noon.
