Today, Christopher Stephen Clark, a British electronic musician who performs under the mononym Clark, unveiled a mesmerizing and ethereal video for “Medicine,” a captivating track from his latest album Sus Dog. The song received executive production from Thom Yorke of Radiohead, while the video is a spectral visual experience.

In this unique collaboration, Yorke lends his bass skills to “Medicine” and takes on vocal duties, making it the only song on the album where he sings. When announcing the album, Yorke expressed his admiration for Clark’s unconventional approach to singing, honed over years as a techno producer and DJ. He shared, “The first thing he sent me was him singing about being stuck between two floors, and I was already sold. To me, the way he approached it all wasn’t the usual singer-songwriter guff, thank God; it mirrored the way he approached all his composition and recording, but this time it had a human face. His face.”

Sus Dog follows Clark’s critically acclaimed 2021 album, Playground in a Lake, which addressed the pressing issue of the climate crisis. With this latest offering, Clark continues to push boundaries and create music that is both innovative and thought-provoking.
