Record producer and electric bassist Dan Horne will release his debut full-length studio album, Count The Clouds, next Friday, April 7. As a preview of what’s to come, the artist has dropped a single and official music video off the impending record. “Dontcha Know” is a flashback to mid-1960s psychedelic folk draped in a dreamscape of masterful instrumentation.

Count The Clouds was recorded during 2020 and 2021, prior to Horne’s vigorous touring schedule alongside Circles Around the Sun and Grateful Shred. The impending collection consists of eight original tunes layered with guitars, drums, pedal steel, and keys.

The full-length offering features special guests Ny Oh from Harry Styles’ band, Raze Regal (Once & Future Band), Adam MacDougall (Circles Around the Sun), Clay Finch (Mapache), and Frank LoCrasto (Kolombo), and was tracked at Horne’s Echo Park, Los Angeles studio, known as Liberty Hair Farm.
