After a break from the stage, Neil Young will return this spring. The artist’s upcoming performance benefits Autism Speaks and will take place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on April 22. The show will mark the first time Young has performed live since September 2019.

The impending bill is set to feature Young’s longtime collaborator and event host Stephen Stills as well as Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Chris Stills and Oliver Stills and more.

The benefit concert was initially slated for April 2020 but was ultimately delayed due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The upcoming event is the sixth Light Up for Blue concert organized by the Stills family since the first-time occasion in 2013.

Past events have included appearances by Crosby, Stills & Nash, John Mayer, Patti Smith, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Beck, the late Burt Bacharach and others. Additional acts are expected to be added to this year’s lineup in the coming weeks.
