Bluegrass’ golden boy, Billy Strings, has announced his return to the fabled Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on May 11 and 12.

The musician shared the news with his followers across social media on Tuesday afternoon, with a video showcasing clips from Strings’ previous visit, including his 2019 debut as the opener for Greensky Bluegrass. See below.

Strings returned to Red Rocks in 2020 for a livestreamed performance sans audience and once again during Billy And The Kids’ Dead on the Rocks concerts in July 2021. His last full-fledged return occurred in 2022 when the artist embarked on his highly anticipated headlining debut.

Strings’ 2023 Red Rocks shows will land after an extensive U.S. trek set for this winter, which commences with a three-night sold-out run at 1ST BANK Center in Broomfield, Colo., on Feb. 2 through 4. Read more about Strings’ impending run now.

For those interested in attending the Red Rocks Amphitheatre stand, tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale is on now through Sunday, Nov. 27, via axs.com
