Sean Lennon Ono, son of the late-John Lennon and Yoko Ono, will debut his new instrumental project, Asterisms, tonight, Oct. 5. The first-time shows will occur nightly through Oct. 8, at John Zorn’s New York City venue, The Stone at The New School.

The three-night stand is billed to include an all-star lineup of musicians, including Yuka C. Honda (synths/samples), Devin Hoff (bass), Julian Lage (guitar), Michael Leonhart (trumpet), João Nogueira (keyboards), Mauro Refosco (percussion), Ches Smith (drums) and Lennon (guitar).

Lennon plugged the impending dates on his Twitter account yesterday. He wrote, “I am playing the Stone at the New School every night from tomorrow October 5-8, with an insane supergroup of musicians so potent we are in danger of tearing a hole in the based-time continuum.”

The venue’s capacity is limited to 62 audience members. Tickets will not be available ahead of time and can be accessed exclusively on a first come, first serve basis at The Stone. Doors open at 8 p.m. local time, with music expected to begin at 8:30 p.m.
