Last night, Trey Anastasio Band stopped by the Revolution Concert House and Event Center in Garden City, Idaho, for the first time. The performance saw the Phish guitarist and his touring band play several Phish favorites along with cuts from his solo discography through a high-energy electric performance.

Trey Anastasio kicked off the show with “Alive Again,” and with the assistance of Jennifer Hartswick, Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, Natalie Cressman, Cyro Baptista, James Casey,  and Dezron Douglas moved through “Cayman Review.” With the full band on their feet, Trey Anastasio Band moved into “Blaze On,” then “Set Your Soul Free,” which highlighted the glistening horn section. Trey Anastasio Band moved into a pairing of “Ocelot” into “Magilla” before the penultimate track of the frame, “Spin.” they closed the first set with “Push On ‘Til the Day.”

The second set began with the ever longing “I Never Needed You Like This Before” before the reassuring “Everything’s Right.” Next, the ensemble offered their second pairing of the evening, “Mr. Completely” into “Sand.” 2000’s “Back on the Train” came next, then “Night Speaks to a Woman,” and a cut from the frontman’s solo catalog “Ether Sunday.” They rounded the set out with “Shine” and finally “Gotta Jibboo.” Anastasio and his ensemble returned after a brief pause, still full of rolling and rocking energy for two Phish staples, “Carini” into “First Tube.”

Trey Anastasio Band will perform next at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, Calif., on Sept. 30. Learn more and find tickets here.
