Georgia-natives, Perpetual Groove, have returned with their first original release since 2019. Today, the band shared their single “Out Here” off the forthcoming 20th-anniversary edition of Sweet Oblivious Antidote, which will be reissued early next year.

The single is the band’s first number to be shared via Spatial Audio, Apple’s 360-degree sound platform. In addition to audio, the band has also unveiled the official animated music video by Cloudberry Animations. Watch below.

“Out Here” has been a frequent number in the band’s live repertoire since the early 2000s, making it an ideal addition to their Sweet Oblivious Antidote – 20th Anniversary Edition. Today’s single features vocals and guitar by Brock Butler, Matthew McDonald on vocals and keys, Adam Perry on bass and Darren Stanley on drums and percussions.

Perpetual Groove initially released Sweet Oblivious Antidote in 2003. The album functioned as the group’s breakout studio release, which followed 1999’s self-titled debut LP. The reissue of the beloved sophomore album has been remixed and remastered from its original form and is set to hit shelves in early 2023.

In addition, the band also shared they will begin an extensive North American fall tour on Friday, Sept. 9, at the George Theatre in Athens, Ga. Followed by an expansive trek with stops in Austin, Texas, New Orleans, New York City and more. To learn more or purchase tickets, visit pgroove.net.
