Neranenah, the Southeast’s leading cultural events series focused on Jewish culture and musical traditions, has announced a new concert series dubbed Side by Side, slated to take place across Atlanta at the end of the month. Amongst the artist scheduled to take the stage are Eric Krasno & The Assembly, who will perform on Aug. 27 at The Loft.
One of the facets of the upcoming concert series is to showcase the city’s historical venues and landmarks by spreading out performances across The Big Peach, while also shining the light on explorative entry points of conversations and culture attributed to the Jewish faith, which has long held an important place in American history.
Apart from Krasno’s highly anticipated performance, additional acts include Ben Sidran and Leo Sidran, the Jewish father and son duo. They will discuss the intersections of their careers in the music industry this evening at the Atlanta History Center. Moreover, tomorrow night will feature a musical Shabbat with The Hello, Goodbye, & Peace Ensemble before Krasno’s gig on Saturday night.
The final event is slated for Sunday, Aug. 28, when comedian Jessica Kirson takes the stage at Round Trip Brewing Co. for a night of laughs. For more information on the Side by Side Live Performance Series and to purchase tickets to any upcoming events, visit neranenaharts.org.
