Wilco have confirmed a three-night residency at the stunning Eldborg Hall which is located within the HARPA Concert and Conference Centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. The run of shows will last from April 6 through 8, 2023, and will see the band make their debut in the so-called land of ice and fire.
The ensemble’s upcoming Icelandic performances will double as a celebratory event for Wilco, who have nearly hit the 30-year milestone as a group. To cap the special moment in time for the beloved musicians, they’ll bring their music to the lush northern location. Moreover, on their website, Wilco described the event as taking place in a “country just as unique as the band themselves.”
A pre-sale ticket lottery is open now until Aug. 16. Tickets go on sale to the public starting on Aug. 30. For more details, visit www.wilcoiniceland.com.
