Hot off the heels of City Bisco, The Disco Biscuits have announced they’ll perform a stint of special shows in Reykjavik, Iceland on May 20-23, 2023. The three-day destination event has been named Tranceatlantic and will take place at Eldborg Hall, within the colored glass facade (inspired by the basalt landscape of Iceland) of Reykjavik’s Harpa Concert Hall.

The band addressed their fans directly via a social media post and detailed the experiences they’ve had before introducing the 2023 event. They wrote, “Over the years, the community around The Disco Biscuits has grown ever larger. However, through our shared travels and magical experiences, we’ve also somehow grown closer. We’ve gone on a lot of adventures together around the country and all over the world. And the next one is sure to make us memories that we’ll share forever.”

They went on to share that the event will feature additional artists along with late-night events around Reykjavik following their sets. Additional details including tickets, IcelandAir travel discounts and accommodations will be available on July 11. They closed the statement by writing “Komdu Með Rassinn á Djammið!” which roughly translates to, “Bring Your Butt to the Party!” Learn more about the event here.

The Disco Biscuits are also slated for a co-headlining run with Umphrey’s McGee in August who recently held their own event in Iceland during this past March.
