Circles Around The Sun have announced an extensive 30-stop coast-to-coast tour slated for summer and fall. Dubbed Language 2022, the run was named after their most recent single, “Language,” which dropped in mid-March and featured harpist Mikaela Davis. Listen here.
The first newly added stop will see the band – Adam MacDougall, Dan Home, Mark Levy and John Lee Shannon – perform at Back Home Festival in New Martinsville, W.Va. After that, they’ll remain off the road for a solid month before reconnecting at Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colo., on Aug. 13.
Then, they’ll pop up at Terminal West in Atlanta, Ga., on Aug. 17, ahead of a three-night stint at The Charleston Pour House beginning on Aug. 18. Next, the band will perform at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, N.C., on Aug. 21, before their Aug. 22 show at Zoetropolis in Lancaster, Pa.
The four-piece will travel to Richmond, Va., before a gig at Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, N.C., on Aug. 25. After that, they will remain in the Southern region of the U.S. until mid-September, when they’ll travel to the West Coast for five California dates beginning on Sept. 14 at Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif.
They’ll make three stops in Washington state next, ahead of a performance at Portland, Ore.’s Aladdin Theater on Sept. 24 and a show at Sessions Music Hall in Eugene, Ore., the following night. The final new stops will see Circles Around The Sun perform at Hillberry Music Festival in Eureka Springs, Ark., on Sept. 30, followed by a set scheduled for Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Fla., on Oct. 28.
