moe. have announced they’ll perform a special one-off performance at Empire Underground in Albany, N.Y. on May 12. The event is being billed under their moniker Monkeys on Ecstasy, which they’ve used for underplays and surprise appearances for decades.

“Special one time showing. What else do you have to do Thursday night?” the band asked in the post.

The surprise last-minute announcement arrived less than 48 hours before they’re set to take the stage at the underground, intimate, basement stage. Doors are at 7:00 p.m. and they’re expected to kick off at 9:00 p.m. ET.
