The DKNJ Allstars have announced they will perform a one-night stand to honor Eric Clapton. The event, dubbed Down to the Crossroads: Celebrating the Music of Eric Clapton, is scheduled for June 10 at New York’s The Cutting Room. 

The band is led by Mahwah, N.J. native, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist David Kopec, joined by bassist Adam Roberts, drummer Jay Dittamo, keyboardist and tenor saxophonist David Tarzian, guitarist Michael Jaskwicz and trumpeter and vocalist Teegan Taylor. 

With over 30 years of experience and countless tours across the Eastern U.S., as well as an impressive lineup of collaborators – including Levon Helm, Jorma Kaukonen, Tom Constanten, Colonel Bruce Hampton, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Commander Cody, Les Paul, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge – Kopec has become a mainstay on along the Atlantic Seaboard.
