Boston Calling Music Festival has shared that Nine Inch Nails will fill in as headliners for the Foo Fighters on May 27 at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston, Mass.
The decision comes after the Foo Fighters released a statement just one week ago, on March 29, canceling all upcoming tour dates. They stated, “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.” Read the complete statement here.
Nine Inch Nails join fellow headliners The Strokes and Metallica, who will headline the second and third nights of Boston Calling. This year’s event will mark the festival’s return after two years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevented the 2020 and 2021 iterations of the festival.
