Indie-pop sensation Maggie Rogers has announced her upcoming album, Surrender, which will drop on July 29. The release serves as her sophomore effort, following her 2019 debut Heard It In A Past Life

After a whirlwind tour in support of the highly acclaimed Past Life, Rogers retreated to the coast of Maine, seeking isolation and resulting introspection promised by the landscape. There, she sought inspiration amid the rugged cliffs and powerful, oceanic chaos of the Atlantic. Through the stillness that she found and the physical topology she encountered, Rogers discovered a sense of self that yielded Surrender.

Along with the album announcement Rogers shared an ‘album trailer–co-directed with Michael Scanlon– giving fans an anticipatory, poetic glimpse of the new record.
