Spoon and Interpol have announced a joint tour dubbed Lights, Camera, Factions beginning Aug. 25 in Asbury Park, N.J., at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. The bands have also shared they will be joined by The Goon Sax, making it a Matador Records triple bill.
Following a stint in The Garden State, the ensemble will make their way to Toronto for a gig on Aug. 26. Then, they will head back to the U.S. and continue their tour in the country’s Northeastern region. The bands will stop in Portland, Maine, on Aug. 27, followed by a show in Providence, R.I.
After a few gigs in Ohio, Spoon and Interpol will find themselves in the Southern part of the country. Interpol will perform alone in Atlanta at The Eastern on Sept. 2, and Spoon will join the following night in Asheville, N.C. Then, Spoon will perform a solo stand at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 4.
After a series of Midwest stops, the bands will make their way West for a single California appearance at Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Sept. 14. Then, after a day off, they will pop up at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle before wrapping the tour with a two-night stand at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, Ore., on Sept. 17 and 18.
