Funk collective Lettuce and horn-driven outfit Tower of Power have announced a joint headling performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., set for July 20. The Colorado Symphony will join them at the iconic and natural odeum.
Tower of Power emerged in the late ’60s and have recently been touring, celebrating the longevity of their blend of soul, R&B and funk, and are sure to combine that joy with the two decades of performance experience and the combination of funk, hip-hop, jazz, soul and psychedelia Lettuce have under their belts.
Before the Red Rocks show, Tower of Power will have a five-day residency at the Blue Note Hawaii, in Honolulu, from May 5 through 8. Additionally, they’ll continue to play with Lettuce at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati on Aug 11, and the Rose Music center at The Heights in Huber Heights, Ohio on Aug. 12
Pre-sale tickets are available now. General on-sale starts March 25, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Find tickets here.
$1 of every presale ticket will go to Backline, a non-profit which connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health & wellness resources.
