Tonight, Jeremiah Lockwood’s supergroup The Sway Machinery will reunite in New York for the Jewish holiday Purim at the renowned East Village outpost Nublu.

The Sway Machinery–comprised of Lockwood, Stuart Bogie, Yula Be’rei and John Bollinger– will play a wide variety of music from rock and blues to jazz and traditional folklore to celebrate the holiday.

Additionally, the evening will feature ritualist and founder and CEO of Shamir Collective Kohenet Shamirah, who will lead a Megillah reading ritual with the help of vocalist and Yiddishist Rachel Weston. The evening will also welcome special guests, DJ Poodlecannon and an appearance by the ghost of Queen Vashti.
