Philadelphia-based group Damn Right reunited this past weekend to celebrate their new LP, Summer in the 90s. The two-night run featured a performance at The 8X10 in Baltimore on Feb. 25– the same stage the band formed on back in 2008. The run also included a stop at Philadelphia’s MilkBoy the following evening.

The two-night run saw the band’s original keyboard player and current Denver resident, Blake Mobley (Tiger Party), reunite with his bandmates Johnny Fissinger and Tom Bradel.

Night one included a surprise appearance by Tim Palmieri of LOTUS, who was in town performing with his band at Baltimore Soundstage. The guitarist joined on Damn Right’s 2012 track “Tiger Waves” and unreleased “Synth 2.”

Tim Palmieri had previously played with Damn Right and Jon Gutwillig of the Disco Biscuits when Damn Right and Kung Fu performed at Brooklyn Bowl on April 23, 2012.
