Marco Benevento has shared a new psychedelic soul single, dubbed “Winter Rose,” via Royal Potato Family.
The track was co-written by Al Howard and is the second collaboration with the San Diego-based poet and lyricist, following last fall’s release, “At The End Or The Beginning.”
The Joe Russo’s Almost Dead keyboardist plays all the instruments on “Winter Rose,” with the exception of additional percussion by Mamadouba “Mimo” Camara.
Benevento is currently finishing his latest studio album, which will be released sometime this summer. His band, featuring bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Dave Butler will perform two shows next weekend, followed by a handful of club dates and festivals. See the complete list of dates below.
