Sting has struck a deal with Universal Music Group to sell the entirety of his solo songwriting catalog and tracks penned for The Police.

The New York Times estimates the deal to be valued at $300 million, although a precise financial report has not been publicized.

The deal grants Universal Music Group the rights to everything ranging from hit Police tracks like “Every Breath You Take” and “Roxanne” to solo work such as “Englishman in New York” and “Fields of Gold.”

Sting is the latest artist among a league of other classic rockers to sell their catalog for significant monetary gain, including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, and Stevie Nicks.
