This year, Boulder, Colo.’s Fox Theatre will be celebrating 30 years since it first opened its doors. The mid-sized independent music venue is located on the town’s University Hill will welcome George Porter Jr. and Dumpstaphunk on March 6 to perform songs by The Meters – the evening has been billed as “Funkify the Fox.”

The celebrations for the venue won’t stop there; in a press release the Fox Theatre shared that “On a date not yet announced, the Fox Theatre will join some of those artists (The String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Hot Rize) as inductees to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.”
