On Tuesday, Gov’t Mule performed an unscheduled set at their Island Exodus event to make up for Monday’s show, which was canceled due to inclement weather. Once more, longtime collaborator Ron Holloway joined the band on saxophone throughout the evening.

The single set performance featured a debut cover of Savoy Brown’s “Street Corner Talking.” Next, Holloway joined in on “Pedestrian Jam” during the central part of their set and returned for a version of “Reblow Your Horn” that segued into some of Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” and Warren Haynes’ signature “Soulshine.”

The saxophonist reemerged at the end of Gov’t Mule’s set for their version of The Allman Brothers Band’s beloved “Dreams” as well as a jam based around the Dead’s “The Other One” during Gov’t Mule’s extended encore.

Island Exodus concludes tonight in Runaway, Jamacia.
