After a six-year hiatus, Cloud Cult returns with a new full-length album, Metamorphosis, due out on March 4 via Earthology Records. They have also announced a 2022 U.S. tour, slated to begin on Feb. 12 at Papa Charlie’s in Lutsen, Minn.

The album features Cloud Cult founder and principal songwriter Craig Minowa visiting topics like the death of his father on tracks “Victor” and “Ascension,” addiction and recovery on “Back Into My Arms,” and the loss of a close friend to suicide on “A Strange World.”

Metamorphosis follows Cloud Cult’s 2018 LP, The Seeker which was released with a feature-length film exploring similar topics to the band’s latest release.

In addition to news of the upcoming release, Cloud Cult has shared dates for a 14-city tour; see the complete list of dates below.
