Greensky Bluegrass performed at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colo. this past Friday and Saturday night. Saturday’s (Jan. 8) performance included a special soundcheck set to benefit victims of the Marshall Fire, followed by two sets of music, which included a debut.

Saturday’s soundcheck set raised over $10,000 via Conscious Alliance for those affected by the recent Boulder County fires. The set began with “Reverend” off the band’s 2008 LP Five Interstates, followed by “I’d Probably Kill You,” “200 Miles From Montana” and “What Happened to Jim?” Greensky Bluegrass played “Leap Year” to close.

The first set of the main show opened with “Worried About The Weather” off the 2014 album If Sorrows Swim, into “Demons” and “Absence of Reason.” The set featured a debut performance of “New and Improved” off of the groups’ forthcoming LP Stress Dreams. The set closed out with a “Favorite Things” teaser and a “Layla” outro tease.

The second set picked up with “Before Bring Out Your Dead” into “Bring Out Your Dead” followed by “In Control,” “Cold Feet” and All for Money.” The set finished with “Like Reflections” and “Run or Die” featuring an “Eye of the Tiger” teaser.

The band returned to the stage for an encore performance of “Windshield” into “Monument” to finish off their run in The Centennial State.
