Anderson .Paak surprised concert-goers at the DJ Logic & Friends show at New York’s Blue Note jazz club last night by joining the band on stage for a funk-filled jam.

“You never know who’s going to show up! Last night, Anderson Paak graced the Blue Note stage with Maurice Brown! Truly unforgettable! The great and legendary Fred Wesley performed with DJ Logic, Mono Neon, Adam Deitch and James Hurt! One for the record books,” Blue Note shared via social media.

.Paak performed on selections DJ Logic has listed as “Unannounced,” “What Song,” “Fire” and “Play on.) In addition, Widespread Panic keyboardist John “JoJo” Hermann, who also sat in with Logic on Friday at the Blue Note, returned for a bit. In addition to Wesley, Mono Neon, Deitch and Hurt, the rest of Logic’s friends for the night consisted of Karl Denson and Maurice Brown.

The final two concerts of DJ Logic & Friends’ Blue Note run begin tonight at 8 p.m., with a second last show scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
