In a press release shared this morning the reason for the event was indicated, “Jesse Malin will present a very special holiday show to benefit his friend Howie Pyro, a beloved musician, writer, DJ, troublemaker and member of D Generation, The Blessed and Danzig. Howie has been fighting for his life, and is currently in recovery from a liver transplant. The money will help cover his medical and living expenses during the year-long recovery.”
