Wilco’s beloved biannual Solid Sound festival will return to MASS MoCA in North Adams, Mass., on May 27 through 29, 2022. The three-day event will occur for the first time since 2019, following a nearly three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Solid Sound will supply an eclectic Wilco-curated lineup of rock, jazz, indie and hip hop artists in addition to Wilco’s band members’ various independent projects. Festival-goers can expect expansive art galleries and installations, a stage dedicated to comedy, outdoor activities and a broad range of experiences intended for the whole family.

The music and arts festival began in 2010 and over the years has hosted the likes of Yo La Tengo, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Parquet Courts, Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett. This year’s lineup has yet to be announced, but eager fans can purchase early bird tickets beginning Friday, Dec. 3 at 12 p.m. EST.
