French Quarter Festivals, Inc. has announced the return of their annual “Holidays New Orleans Style.” Events and activities will take place throughout the holiday season, including a reprise of the free live concert series.

The city’s rich musical heritage of jazz, gospel choirs and classical ensembles will be showcased at St. Anna’s Episcopal Church and St. Louis Cathedral. Historically, the concert series has taken place at St. Augustine Church (and St. Louis Cathedral) but with continued repairs stemming from Hurricane Ida, St. Anna’s has taken the place of St. Augustine’s as a venue.

Among the performers set to hit the stage are distinguished hometown favorites Louis Ford & His New Orleans Flairs, who will play Dec. 4. Quartet, The Zion Harmonizers will perform on Dec. 6 at St. Louis Cathedral. The following night, the sweetheart of New Orleans, Wanda Rouzan & Friends will take the same stage.

New Orleans’ most celebrated tradition will continue with an offering of Réveillon feasts at over 25 of The Big Easy’s finest restaurants.

EO and President of French Quarter Festivals, Inc., Emily Madero remarked, “Last year, many of us were unable to celebrate together. This holiday season will be very special and we welcome our locals and visitors to make new memories by enjoying all that Holidays New Orleans Style has to offer.”

Festivities began Nov. 10 and will continue until Jan. 6, 2022, when the Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc parades through the French Quarter.
