Widespread Panic performed at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans last night. Their first set lasted for 75 minutes and opened with “Conrad” then “Pleas” after which the band broke into a long-form jam of “One-Arm Steve” > “Jam” > “Machine”> “Barstools And Dreamers.”

The arena continued to rock as the band played “Thought Sausage” then “The Last Straw” > “Mountain Jam” > “Protein Drink” > “Sewing Machine.” Their cover of “Mountain Jam” marked the first time they performed the track since 2018, and served as a nod to the 50th anniversary of Duane Allman’s death.

Their second set kept the energy high and the blues low swinging as they continued to play for 93 minutes. Widespread panic circled through their catalog exclusively for the performance. They kicked off with “Walkin’ (For Your Love),” and cycled through staple tracks “Contentment Blues,” into “Bust It Big” into “That Thang” and more. They closed with “Ribs and Whiskey.”

They closed with an encore of “Blackout Blues” and “North.” Widespread Panic will continue their weekend run at the Kiefer UNO Lakefront Arena tonight.
