Phish celebrated their last pre-halloween run performance at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Southern California and, clearly, they were feeling loose as they opened with beloved rarity “Pebbles and Marbles” and closed with the mind-spinning combination of “Fuck Your Face”> “Meatstick”> “The Lizards”> “Life Beyond The Dream.”

After “Pebbles and Marbles” the fun continued through “Makisupa Policeman” and a surprisingly jammy “Sample in a Jar.”

From there, the band also offered the night’s lone live debut, “The Silver Light,” off Trey Anastasio’s pandemic release Lonely Trip.

Later, “Blaze On” kicked off the second half, and fans grooved through “Beneath a Sea of Stars Part 1″> “46 Days”> “Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley”> “Weekapaug Groove” before a stand-alone “About To Run” and a set-ending “If I Could”> “Sigma Oasis.”

The show ended with the aforementioned, impressive encore, which blended the hard-edged “Fuck Your Face” with the silliness of “Meatstick,” the lore of “The Lizards” and the catharsis of “A Life Beyond The Dream.”
