Today, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong released a new track titled “Indiglo,” which features keyboardist Zach Gill of ALO. The studio single marks the band’s first release since their 2020 album Presto.

The track was recorded and mixed by Steve Wright, who is known for his work with Mos Def and Slipknot at Wright Way Studios, and was mastered by Tony Eichler, who is known for his work with Disney and Netflix. “Indiglo” is an effervescent contemplation on personal growth and an ode to the complex nuances presented by life on the road.

“The chorus of our new single ‘Indiglo’ has never sounded sweeter; we’re on the road again!” exclaimed frontman “Scrambled Greg” Ormont in a press release. “I’m so happy that this peppy tune finally got the studio treatment it deserves, complete with the lively keyboard stylings of our friend Zach Gill of ALO. Its release comes at the perfect time as we’re finally back on tour doing what we love, and I hope it resonates with anyone who’s ready to do the same,” he added.
