Cha Wa are the latest artist to offer up an NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.

The NOLA torchbearers and Jazz Fest staples performed the first four cuts off their most recent LP My People, namely, “My People,” “Bow Down,” “Morning Glory” and “Wildman.”

“If you stretch the album, you will notice that we might take one traditional New Orleans sound and mix it with another traditional New Orleans sound and then add our own originality on top of that,” frontman Second Chief Joseph Boudreaux, Jr. told Relix of the new release. “So while we might come up with this completely different, original sound, we are still staying true to the root of it all.”
