The Rolling Stones wasted no time at their Sept. 26 ‘No Filer’ tour opener in St. Louis, paying homage to their fallen brother Charlie Watts with a video tribute before an opening “Street Fighting Man.”

This outing marked the band’s first large-scale gig since their 2020 tour postponement (and their first public without Watts – the Stones did play a private event on Sept. 20 at Gillette Stadium). They worked through favorites like “Under My Thumb,” “Wild Horses” and “Can’t Always Get What You Want,” as well as their 2020 original “Living In a Ghost Town.”

Later they closed the show with the one-two punch of “Sympathy For The Devil” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” as well as a “Gimmie Shelter”/”Satisfaction” encore.

“Thank you for a great opening night St. Louis!” the band wrote afterwards.
