Eric Slick was one of the featured guests at this week’s Rosh Hashanah services at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl.

The Dr. Dog member offered a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Who By Fire,” which is an arrangement of the traditional Yom Kippur prayer “Unetanneh Tokef.”

For the performance, Slick was backed by woodwinds player Stuart Bogie, guitarist Timothy J Allen and drummer John Bollinger.

Brooklyn Bowl’s Rosh Hashanah services, which were led by Rabbi Daniel Brenner and musical director Jeremiah Lockwood, were streamed for free on FANS.live.

A mix of musicians also contributed remotely, too, including Eric Krasno, Real Estate’s Alex Bleeker, Darkside’s Dave Harrington, ALO’s Lebo, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Brian Chase and Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band.

A similar mix of musicians will also participate in Kol Nidre (Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. ET) and Yom Kippur (Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. ET) services live from The Relix Studio.

The musically inclined offerings will be streamed for free on FANS.live.
