The Doobie Brothers announced the postponement of four shows of their tour due to a member of the tour personnel testing positive with COVID-19. The shows that have been rescheduled were set to take place in Clarkston, Minn., Burgettstown, Penn. and Toledo, Ohio and Cincinnati. The new dates have yet to be announced.
“Out of an abundance of caution, The Doobie Brothers will postpone their four upcoming shows as a member of the touring personnel has tested positive with COVID-19 despite health and safety precautions in place,” the band wrote on social media.
The band shared that their tour will start again on Sept. 9 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The Doobie Brothers encourage fans to hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled dates for The Doobie Brothers’ 50th Anniversary Tour, which will feature special guests including Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, Tom Johnston and John McFee.
The tour was originally scheduled for 2020.

September 2, 2021 at 12:21 pmSeems like there is a 99%+ chance of survival without medical interventions – just an unpleasant few days. The vaccine doesn’t seem to prevent 99% of all these “famous” musical people supposedly taking precautions better than the general public. Get it, get over it, get on with life already…
