Ashe and Taylor Goldsmith have released a video of a stripped-down live performance of their co-written song “Love is not Enough” filmed at Los Angele’s Million Dollar Theater.

Ashe a.k.a. Ashlyn Rae Willson has had a meteoric rise over the past two years. She garnered major attention for her single “Moral of the Story” in 2020 which was featured in the Netflix original film To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. The song currently holds over an impressive 300 million streams on Spotify alone.

She dropped her debut album titled Ashlyn on May 7, 2021, which features serval stunning songs. The opening track “Till Together Falls Apart” was produced by and features Finneas O’Connell, and “Moral of the Story” sits comfortably in the middle of the record. Though Ashe’s solo debut has two tracks that rightfully cast large shadows her song “Love is Not Enough” still proves to be a stand-out track, especially when stripped down.

The studio version of “Love is Not Enough” brings about visions of laying on the floor looking at the ceiling, headphones on, as it tells the story of a love falling apart. But as the two singer-songwriters perform live together, what starts off as a lonely contemplation slowly builds to a heart-swelling acceptance of a feeling far more complex than is often found in most love songs.
