After the collective stutter-step of 2020, The Summer Camp Music Festival is scheduled for Aug. 20-22, 2021 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Ill.
However, with the Delta Variant becoming more of a danger in counties around the U.S., organizers for the event have released a new, lengthy statement encouraging festival goers to mask up and get vaccinated.
“While we are lucky enough to finally get back to Three Sisters Park, the recent Coronavirus related reports have been concerning. We all need to be conscientious of what we can do to make sure we keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible,” reads the statement. “With small efforts taken by each one of YOU, we can help keep everyone more safe and healthy during our time together. Getting VACCINATED is the best step that you can take to curb the coronavirus pandemic. We encourage all Summer Camp patrons the be vaccinated.”
The event will also include increased hand sanitizing stations and organizers go on to explain that when social distancing is impossible, “we highly recommend wearing a mask to keep yourself and others around you safe.”
SCamp 2021 initially kept most of the artists from its canceled 2020 edition, with mainstays like moe. and Umphrey’s McGee being joined by Ween, Billy Strings, STS9, Tipper and more.
