Greensky Bluegrass played a new original song titled “Monument,” for the very first time during the second set of their performance at Roaring Camp Meadows in Felton, Calif., July 29. The track features Paul Hoffman on vocals as he plays mandolin.

As the band introduced the song, they noted they had heard via the internet that they might have worked on a new studio album last year during the pandemic and hinted that “Monument” was one of the songs off of the band’s upcoming unannounced release.

They opened the show with “The Shape I’m In” and continued the first set with all original songs through “Last Winter in the Copper Country.” The second set opened with “Don’t Lie” before they premiered “Monument.” They closed with “Leap Year” and encored with “Hit Parade of Love.”

Greensky Bluegrass will be playing at Roaring Camp Meadows for a second night on July 30.
