Following a trio of shows from July 16-18 in Ojai and Felton, Calif., Grateful Shred have revealed that there has been an outbreak of COVID-19 among their band, crew and fans.

“As many of you have already heard, a number of people have tested positive for COVID who attended our California shows this past weekend,” reads a July 24 message from the band. “Nearly all of the band and crew have also tested positive and are at home recovering with their families.”

The group then asks any attendees who are feeling sick to stay home, reminding them that vaccinated individuals can still spread the virus.

“If possible, please vax up and be sure to wear a mask whenever you are inside or close to others,” they add. “Please take care and be safe so that we can keep live music going and be together again real soon!”

Grateful Shred’s next scheduled show is on Aug. 20-21 at Goose’s highly anticipated FRED: The Festival at LOCKN’ Farm in Arrington, Va.
